Prayer of Thanksgiving

O Lord of hosts, we give you thanks that your salvation and power have come through the perfect work of Christ, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who had accused your people day and night before your holy throne. Therefore, when Satan harasses us because of our sin, we rebuke him in the name of Christ. For you have chosen us and saved us from our sins. We are but as brands plucked from the fire. You have removed all our filthy garments and clothed us with pure vestments having forgiven us all our iniquity in a single day upon the cross. O Lord, you have engraved our names upon your hands and assured us of our salvation in Christ enabling us to take our stand with God’s people in forever.
