Zechariah 11 Prayer Points

Prayer for Pastors/Elders
Father, we pray for our shepherds who are charged with tending their flocks, keeping watch over the souls of your people, and who will have to give an account on the Day of Judgment regarding their work. Lord, may they keep their eyes on Christ, the Great Shepherd of the Sheep, and may they know all their sheep by name, feeding the young, healing the maimed and nourishing the healthy. Let them not be like the hired hand who does not care for the flock, but those who protect the sheep and scare off those who seek to destroy them. Lord, give them wisdom and courage to carry out their sacred ministry this day and help them to persevere in it that they might have a share in your joy and your glory.
