Psalm 74 Prayer Points

O God our King, you are from of old, the Ancient of Days. You have worked salvation for your people in every generation. It is you who divided the sea by your great might, who crushed the heads of Leviathan. It is you who brought water from the rock and dried up ever-flowing streams. Yours is the day, yours also the night; you have established the heavenly lights and the sun. You have fixed all the boundaries of the earth; you have made summer and winter. You are our Rock and our Defender. Remember us, O Lord and hear how the enemy scoffs and reviles your name. All around the world, your foes have raged against the church, tearing down walls and setting your sanctuaries on fire. They have sought to humiliate your people and profane your name among the nations. How long, O God is the foe to scoff? Surely, our enemies will not stand forever. O Lord, do not hold back your hand any longer, but come to the defense of your persecuted sons and daughters. Remember your people which you have purchased of old that you have redeemed to be your own heritage. Have regard for your holy covenant and claim your people once again as your own. Arise O God, defend your cause. Let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
