Psalm 66

Psalm 66 Prayer Notes

How awesome are your deeds O God! All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name. So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you. Let not the rebellious exalt themselves, for we rejoice in your rule and your might forever. May all the peoples bless your name and sing for joy to the God of all the earth. Let the sound of your praise be heard in every land.

You O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs; you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance. You have done great things for us, great things for our souls. We cried to you with our mouths, and you saved us. High praise was on our tongue and your rejoiced over us. If we had cherished iniquity in our hearts, you, O Lord, would not have listened. But truly you have listened; you have attended to the voice of our prayers. Blessed be your name O God, because you have not rejected our prayer or removed your steadfast love from us!
