Psalm 46 Prayer Points

Prayer of Adoration:
O God, you are our refuge and our strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, and though the mountains tremble at its swelling. For, you, O Lord of Hosts, are with us, and we will not be moved, for the God of Jacob is our fortress. As we consider the works of the Lord and remember how you have brought desolations on the earth, and how you have made wars to cease, our hearts are confident, and we rest secure in your will. O Lord, let us be still again this morning in your presence and know that you are God over all, that you will be exalted among the nations that you will be glorified in all the earth. Even when the nations rage and the kingdoms totter, we will rest secure and rejoice in the Lord, for you have made us glad in your presence and comforted us by your Word.
