Psalm 101 Prayer Points

O Lord, we recall this morning your steadfast love for your people and your righteousness and justice for the oppressed. We ponder your strong support for the blameless and your rich blessing upon those who hold fast to their integrity. Oh, father, strengthen the leaders in our nation that they might fear your name. Help them to set no worthless thing before their eyes. Teach them to hate the works of the evil one and to keep their hearts from all perversity. May they have no fellowship with arrogant men who slander their neighbors in secret and who practice deceit but look with favor on the faithful in the land. Let those who walk in the way of holiness continually minister to them, and morning by morning may they seek justice in the city cutting off all the evildoers in the land. Even as we pray these things for our nation’s leaders, O Lord, we long for the coming of your kingdom. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
