Micah 6 Prayer Points

O Lord, you are the righteous judge of all the earth, and we humbly come before your throne this morning to present ourselves before our God and King. We come to you not with burnt offerings or any man-made sacrifices in an attempt to appease your holy anger because of our sin, but we plead the name of Jesus your Son, our Savior. For you have told us what is good and what is required of us: to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with our God, but we have fallen far short of your love and of your ways. We have pursued the treasures of the wicked and followed the standards of the accursed walking in their unholy counsels, and we have reaped what we have sown. O Lord, have mercy on us, and forgive us for the sake of your son. You have done us good all the days of our lives and you have given us your holy laws to guide us in your good pleasure. Father, give us wisdom this day to heed your heavenly counsels and to walk with you in your holy ways, for your name’s sake, we pray.
