Mark 13 Prayer Points

Gracious Lord, we thank you for warning us of the dangers that your people will endure and of the opposition that we will face as we wait for your kingdom to come. Help us to interpret the signs of the times in which we live, to be on our guard against false prophets and to endure the hostility of those who hate us for your name’s sake that we might persevere in the faith. We thank you that you have cut short the days of tribulation for the sake of your elect and that we will receive our promised reward in the end. O Lord, heaven and earth will pass away, but your words will never pass away. So, help us to be on guard and to stay awake, for we do not know the time of your arrival and we do not want to be unprepared when our master returns home.
