Mark 12 Prayer Points
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, you are not the God of the dead but of the living, for you are the eternal God, and your Son is the resurrection and the life. O Lord, you are one and there is no god besides you. You sit upon your holy throne in heaven ruling over all creation along with your Son Jesus who sits at your right hand in glory until all your enemies shall be put under his feet. Even while he was on earth, by his great wisdom Jesus put to shame all those who sought to undermine your holy Word, frustrating all those who sought to challenge his authority. And when he returns in glory, he will war against the wicked with the sword of his mouth. For on that day, you who are the rightful owner of this vineyard will come seeking fruit from your tenants and will strike down all those who killed your servants and your beloved Son who sought to steal his inheritance. Indeed, Christ is the stone that the builders of this world have rejected. But he has become the cornerstone, and it is marvelous in our eyes. O Lord, out of the abundance of grace that you have given us, may we give you an offering with glad and thankful hearts, learning by your Spirit to love you more and more with our heart and soul, our mind and strength and learning to love our neighbor as ourselves.
