Leviticus 5 Prayer Points

Gracious God, we come before you this morning acknowledging our many evil deeds that have caused a breach of faith with you and with others. We recognize that throughout our lives, we have become increasingly indebted to you because of all the wrongs that we have done, knowing now that we can never pay you back all that we owe. But we give you thanks through Christ Jesus our Lord, that your Son has already paid all our debts in full through his boundless grace. And you have promised that if we confess our sins, you are faithful to forgive us of them and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Nevertheless, we have ruined many things by our transgressions and many people have suffered as a result. So now we long to make restitution to others where our actions have caused unnecessary harm. Lord, teach us the path toward reconciliation, and help us to acknowledge our failures while seeking restoration where it is possible. Through the power of your Spirit, please guide us to repair the breaches that we have created in our lives that we might honor you through our renewed holiness and love.
