Leviticus 21 Prayer Points

Lord Jesus, our great high priest, holy, blameless, and undefiled in every way, we praise you. Unlike the priests of old, defiled by touching the dead, you disarmed the power of the grave with your own touch. Even entering the throes of death itself, the grave could not hold you. And unlike Aaron and his sons, who could be defiled by a faithless wife, you are not defiled by the many sins of your bride; instead, through your grace and the power of your Spirit, you work to cleanse and sanctify us. Lord, continue to bring life and health to your Church. Where there is sickness, bring healing; where there is brokenness, bring restoration; where there is spiritual death, breathe your life-giving Spirit. Cleanse us, your bride, from all that defiles us – our doubts, our fears, our sins. Purify us by the washing of water with the word, that you may present us to yourself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle, or any such thing, that we might be holy and without blemish.
