Leviticus 10 Prayer Points

Who is like you, O Lord, majestic in holiness and awesome in glory. Your holiness is beyond our comprehension, and your purity sets you apart from all creation. Yet, in Your boundless grace, you invite us into your presence, based not on our own merit but according to the perfect holy works of your son Jesus. So, we come to worship you this morning not according to our own desires and devices but by following the ways that you yourself have laid out for us in love. For among those who would draw near to you, you will be sanctified, and before all the world, you will be glorified. Father, forgive us for the times we have been light and offensive in our approach to your holy throne. Please forgive us also for our pride and presumption. O God, teach us your holy will and ways that we might not offer to you strange fire with estranged hearts. And increase in us a holy fear and reverence that we might draw near to you with clean hands and a pure heart. By your Holy Spirit, may we worship you in the right spirit and according to the truth of your word in humble confidence through faith in your Son.
