Jeremiah 51 Prayer Points

O Holy One of Israel, set up a standard against the walls of Babylon, and blow the trumpet to rally the nations against her, for her judgment has reached up to heaven. Destroy that wicked city for she cannot be healed. Stir up the spirit of kings to advance against her to wipe out her armies and her peoples. It is you who made the earth by your power, who established the world by your wisdom, and by your understanding stretched out the heavens. When you utter your voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and you make the mist rise from the ends of the earth. You make lightning for the rain, and you bring forth the wind from your storehouses. It is you who breaks nations in pieces, who destroys kingdoms, who breaks in pieces governors and commanders, old men and youth. Stretch out your hand against the wicked, O Lord, and vindicate your people, your inheritance, that we might declare the mighty works of the Lord. For then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon. Babylon must fall for the slain of the innocents. O Lord, you are a God of recompense; you will surely repay. She has led many little ones astray into sin; so tie a millstone around her neck and drown her in the depths of the sea. May she sink, to rise no more!
