Jeremiah 22 Prayer Points

Father, we pray for our nation’s leaders who are in authority over us that they might do justice and righteousness throughout the land, and deliver from the hand of the oppressor him who has been robbed. We pray that they themselves would do no wrong or violence to the fatherless, the widow and the alien among us, nor shed innocent blood. May you give them wisdom to know you that they might judge well the cause of the poor and needy. Lord in this powerful and prosperous nation, may you still raise up for us those in high places who will listen to your Word, love their neighbor and have the courage to do what is right.
