Jeremiah 1 Prayer Points

Our God, before you formed us in the womb, you knew us intimately, and before we were born, you chose us in Christ Jesus to be your holy servants. O Lord, may we dress ourselves for our sacred calling this day that we might do and say whatever you have commanded us. Give us also a heart to forsake all kinds of evil. Father, we also pray for pastors and preachers this morning that they would not be afraid to speak forth the whole counsel of God to your people but say all that you have commanded them, knowing that you are with them. Make each of them like a fortified city, and iron pillar and bronze walls to take their stand against the destructive ways of this world. By your holy Word, may each of us also learn to tear down the strongholds that are still standing against the Lord Jesus Christ, and may each of us help to build up your kingdom here on earth by the power of your Spirit, we pray, in Jesus’ name.
