Isaiah 63 Prayer Points

O Lord, you are our Father, and our Redeemer from of old. Our hearts weep when your adversaries trample down your sanctuaries and slaughter your precious ones. There is no one to help us but you, no one who upholds your law as you do. Your arm alone can bring salvation. You alone can bring forth justice on the earth.

With zeal and might, bring forth your day of vengeance, speaking righteousness and marching in great strength to save the world. For the sake of your people and your own name, tread down the wicked in your anger and trample them in your wrath. Usher in your year of redemption.

We will recount your steadfast love, O Lord, and praise your name, according to all that you have granted us—how you have shown your great goodness to your church according to your great compassion. In all our affliction, you were afflicted, and in your love and pity, you have redeemed us. You have lifted us up and carried us all our days. Your Son has shepherded us faithfully, and you have placed your Spirit in our midst.

Fill us with your Spirit of humility and love, that we might not rebel against your sovereign reign and grieve your Holy Spirit. Help us to live for the glory of your everlasting name.
