Isaiah 61 Prayer Points

Our Father, we thank you for sending your anointed Son, Jesus, to bring us good news, to heal our broken hearts, and to proclaim liberty from all slavery and captivity to sin.

In this year of your favor, we thank you for our freedom, for comforting us when we mourn, for lifting up our fainting spirits, and for continually pouring the oil of gladness over our heads. You have already begun to rebuild what we ruined and to raise up what we destroyed by our sin. O Lord, continue that good work within us for the sake of your name. Make us holy that we might call upon your name and minister faithfully in your service.

For you have turned our shame into honor and our poverty into riches and everlasting joy. By your everlasting covenant, you have covered us with the robes of righteousness and clothed us with the garments of salvation, blessing us with grace upon grace beyond measure. O Lord, may you continue to adorn us with your love and favor that we might persevere in our faith and share in your righteousness and praise.
