Isaiah 56 Prayer Points

Lord, we thank you that you will never separate us from your love in Christ Jesus or from your chosen people. For the sake of your own name, you will cause us to persevere and to bear fruit. You will teach us to choose the things that please you and to hold fast to your covenant. You will give us an everlasting name that will never be cut off.

May we hold fast to your word, O Lord, and may we know the blessedness of doing righteousness and keeping justice. Keep our hands from doing evil, O God, and from profaning your holy name. Prepare us for the Day of Christ’s coming, the Day of your salvation and your kingdom when your righteousness will be revealed on earth.

Sanctify your people, O Lord, and make us holy. Remove from your congregations the blind watchmen who slumber in their sin and remain silent, and the false shepherds who feed themselves and do not care for your sheep. Raise up for us godly men who can teach others the way of the Lord.

Cause your name to be known among the nations, that the peoples might join themselves to your holy nation. May they minister to you, love your name, and become your honorable servants. Bring them to your holy mountain and gather them into your holy Church, making them joyful in your house of prayer. Accept their humble offerings of thanksgiving and be pleased with their sacrifices of praise. May your house of prayer truly be for all peoples, O Lord. Gather them into your Church that they might know the joy of the Lord.
