Isaiah 52 Prayer Points

Great God, our sovereign King, wherever you reign, there is peace and joy abounding, so let your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We are your chosen servants and your thankful subjects who gladly put on the beautiful garments of righteousness and holiness in your son Jesus, and we shod our feet with his gospel of peace that we might proclaim your salvation and your coming kingdom every day.

O Lord, go before us this day and be our rear guard of protection. Loose the bonds of sin from our necks, and free us to walk in the light. We confess that we once hated your law and despised your name, but now we know you and love your ways. Now we sing for joy to you, our God, and we wait for the return of your Son, when the waste places of this earth will teem with life and all the earth will rejoice in the goodness of God.

May your name be high and lifted up today among the nations, and may you sprinkle many peoples with your cleansing grace.
