Isaiah 51 Prayer Points

O God our Savior, you are our Maker, our Comforter, and our Lord. You have called us and saved us by your righteous Son, and you have blessed and comforted us by your Spirit in all our waste places. We thank you, Lord, for you make our wilderness like Eden. You have given us joy and gladness and filled our hearts with thanksgiving and song. Our hope is in you, and we wait for you.

We seek you, O Lord, and we pursue your righteousness. We look to the rock from which we were hewn and give ear to your word, for you have fixed it in our hearts and put your words in our mouths. Guide us, O Great Jehovah. Take us by the hand and lead us in the straight and narrow path to green pastures.

As your afflicted ones, we long for that day when all your ransomed shall walk to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy upon our heads. We pray for that day when all your people shall obtain gladness and joy, when sorrow and sighing shall flee away. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, come and usher in the fullness of your kingdom. Amen.
