Isaiah 47

Isaiah 47 Prayer Points

O Lord of hosts, our redeemer, we bow before your unrivaled throne, pleading for your righteousness to be shown on earth as it is in heaven. We ask that you would tear down the thrones of the wicked and take vengeance on the cruel tyrants of this world. Would you disgrace those who live in luxury and refuse to blush at evil. Would you remove the heavy yoke from the neck of honest workers and bring your wrath against those who take pleasure in hurting the weak.

Lord, we ask that you would expose all those who dabble in dark arts and who seek to entice the naive. Would you shake those who feel secure in their evil deeds and show forth your power to those who deny your very being. May disaster fall upon those who bring forth destruction and ruin upon those who ruin the earth. Frustrate their counsel, O God, confuse their minds, take away the evil joy in their hearts, and consume them like stubble.

Do all of this for the sake of your people that they might be saved. Do it for the sake of your son that his kingdom might finally be revealed.
