Isaiah 41

Isaiah 41 Prayer Points

O Lord, the everlasting God, you stir up armies and mighty warriors, and you trample kings underfoot. You bring desolations to the earth and you make wars to cease to the end of the earth. You, O Lord, are the first, and with the last; you are God.

Father, you have called us from the ends of the earth and chosen us to be your servants and your friends. We will not fear, for you are with us. We shall not be dismayed, for you are our God. You will strengthen us and help us and uphold us by your righteous right hand. All those who strive against us shall be ashamed and confounded by you.

You are our Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, our Help. We will rejoice in your praise and revel in your glory, and we will call upon your name with thanksgiving.

You will not forsake the poor and the needy, and you will provide refreshing water for all who are thirsty that all might see that the hand of the Lord has done it. But the idols of the earth can do neither good nor harm; they are nothing, even less than nothing—a delusion. They cannot tell the future, but you reveal the end from the beginning, that we might know that you are God and that you are right in all your ways.
