Isaiah 32 Prayer Points
O Lord, you are our hiding place from the wind, our shelter from the storm. You are like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land. You have opened our eyes to see your glory and our ears to hear the promises of your word. You have caused our hearts to understand and our tongues to give thanks and praise. We long for your kingdom to come, O God, when fools will no longer be called noblemen and scoundrels will no longer be considered honorable—when Christ our King comes to reign in righteousness and all his princes will rule in justice. Bring forth that glorious day when the complacent will no longer live off the backs of those who labor for their bread, when the truly noble will take their stand on noble things, and all the cities will be full of joy.
Come quickly Lord Jesus to shut the mouth of the one who speaks folly and who utters error concerning your ways. Remove from office those whose hearts are busy with iniquity and who take advantage of the poor and needy. Pour out your Spirit from on high to turn this wilderness into a fruitful field that the righteous might abide in peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
