Isaiah 11 Prayer Points

Our Father in heaven, may your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send forth to earth once again your Son Jesus, the Root of Jesse, the Good Tree who only bears good fruit, for on him rests the Spirit of the Lord in all wisdom and understanding, in all counsel and might, and in the perfect knowledge and fear of the Lord. May he come to judge the poor with righteousness and decide with equity for the meek of the earth, striking down the wicked with the rod of his mouth and slaying evildoers with the breath of his lips.

We long, O Lord, for that day when the wolf will dwell with the lamb, the lion shall eat straw with the ox, and even a nursing child can play safely near the hole of a cobra, when the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord and none shall hurt or destroy on your holy mountain.

With eyes of faith, already we can see our Lord bearing his belt of righteousness and faithfulness standing as a signal for the remnant of all the nations to come and enter their rest, on that day when you cast out the jealous and the wicked who have harassed your people for years. Then all the peoples shall obey you, O Lord, and there will be a highway into the holy city from every corner of the earth with multitudes of peoples from every tribe, nation and tongue coming to acknowledge your kingship, to seek your wisdom and to pay their tribute in worship to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Come quickly, Lord Jesus! Amen.
