Exodus 23 Prayer Points

Prayer of Adoration
O Lord God, may all the kingdoms of the earth know that you are God alone, that there is no other god beside you, and that no other god can save them, or help them, or even hear them when they cry out in prayer. You are not only the God of the Jews but also the God of the Gentiles, the God of heaven and the God of earth, and it is your name alone that we honor and worship. O Lord, you hate a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, and a false witness who breathes out lies. Our Father, you shut the mouth of injustice and give hope to the righteous and the innocent. You show no partiality to princes nor regard the rich more than the poor, for each of them will you judge according to their works. You are patient with the wicked, tender with the righteous, and merciful to the sojourner. You care not only for man, the pinnacle of your creation, but also for the beasts of the earth giving them their food, even providing rain and rest to a dry and weary land.

Prayer of Sanctification
O Lord, give us the mind of Christ to honor your holy commandments, to love you with all of our hearts and to love our neighbor as ourself. Lord, teach us to love our enemies and to help them in their time of need. May we be a blessing to sojourners and refreshing to all who are weary with labor. Teach us to rely upon your good provision that we might enjoy your day of rest. Help us to pay attention to all of your words and to keep covenant with the God of our salvation, bringing our best to you in sacrifice and service. May we do everything for the sake of Christ, being careful to obey his voice, and turn away from every false idol, that we might fully enjoy the blessings of heaven in a right relationship with you. Our father, protect us from any entanglement with sin and keep us watchful against the snares of the devil that we might not break fellowship with you and lose our peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
