Ephesians 6

Ephesians 6 Prayer Points

Prayers for Children and Parents:
-We pray for the children in our congregation this morning that they all would desire to obey their parents in the Lord, doing what is right, and honoring their fathers and mothers that it might go well with them and that they might live a long fruitful life in the land of the living.
-We pray also for the fathers in our congregation that they would not provoke their children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Prayers for Workers and Supervisors:
-We pray that all our work performed this day would be carried out with sincerity of heart and reverence for your holy throne as we submit to our leaders and seek to serve our fellow man.
-We pray also for those in authority in the workplace that they would treat their employees fairly and with respect knowing that they will be held accountable for how they have treated even the least of these.

Prayers for Spiritual Warfare:
O Lord, whether we are at work or at home, we pray for your strength to live a godly life in Christ Jesus. There are so many temptations to sin in this world that can easily trip us up in our faith, so we ask that you would protect us through the spiritual armor that you have provided that we might be able to take our stand against the schemes of the devil, remembering that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. O Lord, help us to put on the whole armor of God today, that we might be able to stand firm in the evil day wearing the belt of truth, the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness and wielding the sword of the Spirit, remembering to pray at all times for ourselves and for all the saints, that we might still be standing strong in the Lord.

Prayers for Fellowship: Father, increase our love for the brothers this day and fill us with your spirit that as you have encouraged us so may we encourage the hearts of our brothers.

Prayers for Evangelism: O Lord, open our mouths wide to boldly proclaim the mystery of your gospel today, as we should.
