Daniel 5 Prayer Points

Lord of the Nations, you have numbered the days of every kingdom on earth and you will bring them all to an end at your appointed time. Every nation’s leader will be weighed in the balance and many will be found wanting. Those who have blasphemed your name and desecrated the holy things of God will surely see the writing on the wall. For they have lifted themselves up against the Lord of heaven and hardened their hearts against the God who gives them breath. O Lord, you will justly bring your holy judgment against all those who have not honored you in their ways. So, we pray for those in leadership over us that you would humble them and surround them with men in whom dwells the Spirit of God. May you give them light and understanding and wisdom that they might do what is right and in the right manner. Lord, elevate within the ranks of the state those who care for your people, who can interpret the times in which we live, and who are able to solve the problems that we face.
