Isaiah 25

Isaiah 25 Prayer Points

O Lord, you are our God; we will exalt you; we will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. You have turned cities into ruins, strongholds into heaps of rubble, and the homes of the proud into dust, never to be rebuilt. May the peoples honor you, O Lord, and may the cities of the ruthless stand in awe of your mighty works. For you have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in their distress—shelter from the storm, and a shade from the heat. On your holy mountain, you will prepare a feast of rich foods and aged wine for all peoples. You will silence the tumult of the arrogant and subdue the song of the ruthless. You will destroy the shroud of darkness that enfolds all the peoples and the veil that covers all the nations. You will swallow up death forever. O God, you will wipe away the tears from every eye and remove the disgrace of your people from all the earth. On that day, we will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, in whom we trusted; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” You are the Lord of all the earth and you will surely do it!
