Isaiah 14

Isaiah 14 Prayer Points

We praise you, O Lord, for you are a God of compassion who will again choose your people, delivering us from every form of bondage. Lead us, we pray, out of all that holds us captive, bringing us into your promised rest and peace. We ask, Father, that you would cast off the oppressor, break the staff of the wicked, and shatter the power of those who afflict the weak. Let the earth rejoice and break forth into singing as your justice rolls down like waters. We pray against the one who laid low the nations, who dared to exalt himself and set his throne on high, seeking to be like you, O Lord Most High. Bring him down, O God, to the depths of the pit, along with all those who have shaken kingdoms and brought destruction upon humanity. We stand in awe of your sovereign will, O Lord, knowing that as you have planned, so shall it be, and as you have purposed for the whole earth, so shall it stand. For who can annul your decree? Stretch out your hand over all the nations, for no one can turn it back. Build up your holy city, Lord, that it may be a refuge for all who are afflicted. May your kingdom come, and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
