Isaiah 10 Prayer Points

Almighty God, Lord of the Nations, we stand in awe of your mighty hand that rules over the rise and fall of empires. You build up and you tear down according to your holy will. We acknowledge that you have built up and strengthened our nation according to your eternal purposes, yet our land is full of iniquity and many leaders who make iniquitous decrees that turn aside the needy from justice, oppress the poor of their rights, and devour the weak as their prey. O God, won’t you punish the arrogant heart and the boastful tongue, and may your right hand bring forth their deliverance. May your kingdom come to replace all the kingdoms of idols. By your great strength and your profound wisdom, won’t you remove all the boundaries of the peoples, bringing down all who sit upon their earthly thrones. In your rage and fury, come to burn all the thorns and briers on earth to bring forth your righteousness and peace. Then all who remain will learn to lean upon the might of the Lord.
