Isaiah 7 Prayer Points

Oh Lord God, we confess that in times of trouble and opposition, our hearts are often full of fear and trembling. We are so quickly shaken by the wrath of men who are mere smoldering stubs of firewood forgetting that no plot against your people can stand apart from your holy will. Father, forgive us for trying your patience and doubting your Word, and grant us the courage to stand firm in our faith. Lord Jesus, speak forth your words of comfort and reassurance once again to your little children that we might be at peace, understanding that you use even our enemies to bring about your holy will. O Immanuel, you are God with us in our fears, God with us in our suffering, and God with us in our battles. Let your presence be our comfort, our strength and our unwavering hope knowing that you will never abandon us. Lord, may our hearts cease from trembling and find our rest in you.
