2 Thessalonians 2 Prayer Points

God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, you have loved us, chosen us, and given us eternal comfort and hope through the grace of your gospel that we might share in your glory. O Lord, continue to sanctify us by your truth, comfort our hearts by your promises, and establish us in every good work and word. Help us to stand firm in the faith and to hold to the genuine teachings of Godly men who faithfully teach your Word. As those who love the truth, may none of us be deceived or quickly shaken by false teachers. And as those who take no pleasure in unrighteousness, may none of us be misled by the spirit of lawlessness and rebellion that is at work in this world. For we long for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ that we might be gathered together to him. We know that when he comes, he will kill the Man of lawlessness with the breath of his mouth and he will assuredly crush Satan under his feet. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
