Leviticus 17 Prayer Points

O Lord, as surely as you live, we deserve to die because of our many sins. But you ransomed us from the futile ways inherited from our forefathers with the precious blood of Christ, the Lamb of God, without blemish or spot. Surely, you do not delight in the blood of bulls, of lambs or of goats, for it is impossible for those sacrifices to take away our sins. Instead, you have prepared a body for your Son Jesus to carry out your holy will as it was written of him in the scroll of your book. And he poured out his life blood for our sakes to make atonement for our souls. O Father, continue to wash us in the precious blood of the Lamb that your face might not be set against us and we might not be cut off from your holy people. For we could never bear our own iniquity, but Jesus was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities. You placed upon him the chastisement that brought us peace, and we have been healed by his wounds. Worthy are you, O Lord God, for you have loved us and have freed us from our sins by his blood.
