Leviticus 15 Prayer Points
O Holy and Righteous God, your ceremonial laws pointed out very many uncleannesses of the mortal body as a constant reminder of an even deeper spiritual uncleanness in every human being. We all have sinned and fall short of your glory on a daily basis. But we humbly approach your throne of grace in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. For we recall how your son, who is the very embodiment of purity, did not recoil from the woman afflicted by a ceaseless flow of blood, but made her clean. Likewise, we remember how Jesus stood before the woman caught in the act of adultery and condemned by the law. Instead of casting the first stone at her, you offered her grace and compassion, ministering to her as a sufferer, and forgiving her as a sinner, telling her to go and sin no more. O Lord, you have shown us the same healing, the same grace and compassion. Help us to walk this morning in that same freedom of forgiveness and in the power of your purity we pray, in Jesus’ name.
