Leviticus 4 Prayer Points

Heavenly Father, we humbly come before you, acknowledging that we often stumble in many ways, not only through our intentional transgressions but even through our unintentional sins, when we don’t even realize the weight of our actions. But we confess that even in our ignorance, we fall short of your glory and our transgressions create a distance between us. And we thank you for sending us your Son to serve as a sin offering to atone for our iniquity and to cover our shortcomings through the shedding of his blood. We cling to his perfect sacrifice for us. We also thank you for sending us your Holy Spirit who reveals to us many areas where we have missed the mark, who stirs up our conscience against dead works, and who brings true conviction and godly sorrow over our sin. Grant us hearts that are receptive to his holy work that we might understand the seriousness of our transgressions and the preciousness of the blood of Christ, we pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
