1 Thessalonians Ch.2 Prayer Points

O God who calls us into your kingdom and glory, we want to know you more and to enjoy a deeper fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. May our fellowship with you and with God’s people not be in vain. But let us receive your word with much profit and blessing. Let it work within us continually that we might be blameless and righteous in our conduct walking in a manner worthy of your kingdom and glory. Father, give us boldness to declare the gospel of our Lord Jesus even in the midst of opposition, for you have entrusted us with this good news not to please man but to please you, who tests our hearts. Help us not to be afraid of those who hate us, who oppose all mankind, and who displease you by refusing to bow before your word, even seeking to kill your holy servants just as they sought to kill your son. Do not let Satan hinder your work because of us, but through gentle words and a gracious demeanor, may we speak forth the word of God with power that your name might be glorified and your kingdom come. And may each of us know the hope and joy of leading sinners to Christ.
