Jeremiah 11 Prayer Points

O Lord of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, we commit our inner thoughts and feelings to you this day, asking for you to test them and to cleanse our hearts from every evil way, for we have committed our lives to your cause and our bodies to your service. We are children of your holy covenant, called to be your chosen people and privileged to call you our God. Lord, give us ears that we might hear the words of your covenant this morning to do them. Incline our hearts to the wisdom of all your ways that we might not walk in the stubbornness of our own evil hearts nor turn back to the iniquities of our forefathers bowing down to dumb idols and serving false gods provoking you to anger. Gracious Lord, what right do we have to be called your beloved people and to dwell in your house having done so many vile deeds? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord, for redeeming us, showing us your mercy and giving us the hope of restoration in this life. O God, you have planted us like beautiful trees on the banks of the river of life that we might grow and bear good fruit that blesses others and brings glory and honor to your name. Father, so fill us with your Spirit that we might abide in your Son Jesus, drinking water from that spring that wells up into eternal life.
