Mark 14 Prayer Points

O Lord Jesus, you are the Christ, the Son of the Blessed God, and the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power who is coming with the clouds of heaven. But many today are secretly plotting against the church, taking counsel together against you and your people. And there are many within the church bearing false witness in your name, betraying their own confession. It would have been better for them never to have been born, for they will surely face the fierce indignation of the Lord. Surely, it is only by your grace that we stand. For we all like sheep have gone astray and turned to our own way, but you, O Christ, have never stumbled into sin. We enjoy the Lord’s favor only because of your perfect obedience and your righteous deeds. And it is only by the blood of your covenant that we will be able to eat and drink in the kingdom of God. O Lord, preserve our faith, we pray, that we might never deny you in the day of trial and never deny that we belong to your church. Make us watchful in prayer to flee from temptation and deliver us from evil. Strengthen us by your grace, we pray, that we might desire your will and make beautiful offerings unto the Lord.
