Hosea 5 Prayer Points

Our Father, you know us completely, for none of our ways are hidden from you. All of our iniquities are before your face, even our secret sins in the light of your presence. And your Spirit convicts us of that truth stirring up the guilt within. Lord, we have dealt faithlessly with you. We have played the whore and defiled your holy temple. We have determined to go after filth instead of seeking the path of purity. O God, we acknowledge our pride and the guilt that powerfully testifies against us. For we feel the sickness in our souls and have tasted its bitterness. Lord, we turn to you, our husband and our king, and ask that you would have mercy upon us. Great physician of souls, we pray that you would cure us of our waywardness and our many maladies. For there is nothing that we can do to make things right. There are no deeds we could perform to earn back your trust, so we come to you humbly in the name of Christ seeking you in the midst of our misery and distress. O Lord, have mercy upon us, for the sake of your name.
