Ephesians 1 Prayer Points

Our Father, we bless your holy name, for you have blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms. You have chosen us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before you. In love you have predestined us for adoption as your sons and daughters to the praise of your glorious grace. And in Christ we now have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, and an abundance of grace, which you have lavished upon us.

O Lord, we have heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation. We have believed in Christ Jesus, and are now sealed with your promised Holy Spirit as a guarantee of our glorious inheritance. So may we now live for your praise and glory. We pray, O God, that you would increase today our faith in the Lord Jesus, our love toward all the saints, and the Spirit of wisdom within us, that we might know the hope of our calling, the riches of our inheritance, and the immeasurable greatness of your power toward us who believe. Lord, would you work that same power in us today that you worked in Christ long ago when you raised him from the dead and seated him at your right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion. May we lift high the name of Christ this morning, that name that is above every name, and may we place all things under his feet freely acknowledging that he is our head and the heave over all things for the sake of the church.
