Psalm 105 Prayer Points
We give you thanks, O Lord, that we can call upon your name as those chosen and beloved in Christ to seek your strength and your presence continually. You have filled our hearts with joy in the Spirit, for now we understand your judgments, and we glory in all your wonderful deeds. You are the Lord our God and we are your people. And you will keep your covenant with us just as you kept the covenant with Abraham. For a thousand generations you will remember your promises to us and never break your word. O God, we are sojourners, pilgrims and aliens in this land in which we live. And we are of little account in the eyes of the wicked. But you have promised to turn back the hand of our oppressors and even to rebuke kings on our account giving us peace and security in your name. Even now, it is you who have turned the hearts of our enemies to hate us and to deal craftily with us to test us until all your word comes to pass. So, we look to you, O Lord, and wait, for you will cause your dread to fall upon them at the appointed time, and you will rescue us from every evil deed. You have saved us O Lord and delivered us through the cross of Christ that we might serve you, that we might keep your holy laws, and glory in your name, making known your deeds among the peoples. We praise you, O God, and gladly offer our lives again in service to you this morning.
