Micah 2

Micah 2 Prayer Points

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are your judgments and how inscrutable your ways! Our Father, we delight in your heavenly truth, and we long for you to teach us your holy wisdom. Oh, how grateful we are for the revelation of your Holy Word, and for giving to your Church pastors and teachers to help us to comprehend the mind of Christ. O Lord, may we never be like the Israelites described in this passage who begged the prophets to stop preaching to them and to stop speaking of the judgment to come. May we never be compared to those who preferred sermons that could numb their pain rather than heal their spirits. Gracious father, our hearts are deceitfully wicked and prone to wander devising evil schemes even before we get out of bed. We are proud and haughty; we are ungrateful and covetous of our neighbor. Please continue to rebuke us in our sin, to heal us of our uncleanness and to bring us to full repentance. Lord, you have been so patient with us, and your words have continued to do us good all the days of our lives. Father, we long to be in the courts of the Lord and to join with the general assembly of the saints who love and serve you, to be guided and shepherded by you, and to be led out by our gracious King, the Lord Jesus. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosannah in the highest!
