Jude 1 Prayer Points

O God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever, for you have created all things, and by your will they existed and were created. O Christ, you are the judge of all the earth and we long for the day when you will come with ten thousands of your holy ones to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their ungodly deeds and all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against your holy throne. Hallowed be your name. O Holy Spirit, you alone are able to preserve us in the faith, to keep us from stumbling, and to present us blameless before the presence of your glory with great joy. We give you praise, for you have called us, loved us, and kept us for Jesus Christ multiplying to us your mercy, peace and love on earth.

As servants of Jesus Christ, we pray that you will help us to stand together today with our brothers and sisters in Christ to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. May we not join in with the grumblers, the malcontents, the boasters, and those following their own sinful desires, but may we walk with the wise and the pure in heart, staying far away from those who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ, for you will surely punish the ungodly in the fires of eternal judgment. O Lord, keep us in your love and build us up in the faith, teaching us to pray in the Spirit and waiting for the mercy our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. Father, help us to give mercy to those who doubt, and to snatch others out of the fire, showing mercy with fear, lest we too stumble into sin. O Lord, may we hate even the garments stained by the flesh, just as you do.
