Psalm 50 Prayer Points

O Lord God, you are the Mighty One, who speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. Out of Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem and the perfection of beauty, your splendor shines forth. Before you is a devouring fire, and around you is a mighty tempest. The heavens declare your righteousness O Lord, for you are the just judge of all the earth. And we know that there is no offering that we could make to appease your holy wrath against us for you have sent us your only Son, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. Therefore, we do not offer you rams, bulls or goats, for you own the cattle on a thousand hills and everything that moves in the fields is already yours. Instead, we offer to you a sacrifice of thanksgiving to glorify your name, and seek to order our ways according to your holy precepts. Fill us with your Spirit this day that we may not forget you O God, nor hate your discipline, nor cast your words behind our back, but delights ourselves in the law of the Lord and humbly call upon your name.
