2 Corinthians 8 Prayer Points
Our Father, we give you thanks for the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, for our sake he became poor, so that by his poverty we might become rich. And we thank you for giving to your Church this same grace of giving that as one part of the body suffers, we who have an abundance might help to supply the need of our brothers and sisters in Christ taking part in the relief of the saints. O Lord, help us to trust your faithful provision and fill our hearts with your joyful generosity that we might excel in these acts of grace, showing goodwill toward others. Gracious God, we give ourselves to you first and then also to our brothers. Help us to supplement our faith with brotherly affection and genuine love that we might not be ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, but giving proof before the churches of our love for the Lord and doing what is honorable in the sight of all.
