2 Corinthians 7 Prayer Points

Gracious God, we give you thanks for a multitude of heavenly comforts and for the many precious promises in your Word that sustain us in our afflictions and lift us up when we are downcast. We thank you also for your holy correction and rebukes that produce within us godly grief and repentance restoring in us the joy of our salvation and widening our hearts for greater fellowship with you in the Spirit. O Lord, teach us this day; correct and train us in godliness that we might cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit bringing holiness to completion in the fear of the Lord. Father, keep us from every wrong path and every form of corruption that diminishes our love for you. Instill within us your holy indignation for sin, your zeal for righteousness, and your love and affection for your church. O Lord, refresh our hearts this day that we might bring refreshment to others.
