Isaiah 54 Prayer Points

Lord God, our maker and redeemer, we come before you this morning, filled with a deep sense of gratitude and awe, for you have been so good and faithful to us. You, our loving husband, have caused us to forget the shame of our youth, for you have betrothed us to yourself and have loved us with an everlasting love.

Because of your covenant love, you have blessed us abundantly. You have enlarged our tent and caused us to abound in grace, giving us every reason to sing for joy. Lord, we rest in your promise that your steadfast love will not depart from us and that your covenant of peace shall not be removed from us.

We pray that you would show us your ways and teach us your holy wisdom, filling us with your spirit. By your word and presence, wont you establish us, in our faith, making us firm and secure in Jesus Christ.

We stand with confidence this morning in his name, knowing that no power shall overcome us, and no weapon fashioned against us shall succeed. We are secure in our faith, because you have justified us by his blood, so no judgment can stand against us. We are your beloved people, O God, your chosen heritage, just as you have justified us in Christ, so sanctify us by your Spirit, and glorify us at the coming of your Son Jesus.
