Isaiah 27 Prayer Points

Lord God, the Judge of all the earth, on the day of your coming, you will surely punish Leviathan the serpent and slay the dragon in the sea. Then all your people, who are scattered across the earth, will come and worship you on your holy mountain in Jerusalem. We pray for your Church, O God, that it would continue to take root and blossom, to put forth shoots and fill the whole world with the fruit of the gospel until all the nations call upon your name. You are our great Protector, our Shield against the forces of darkness. We praise you, Lord, our Keeper, who keeps us day and night. We thank you that through Christ, you have atoned for our guilt and we have borne the fruit of the removal of our sins. Thank you too, Lord, for contending with us, measure by measure, to bring us to repentance. You have broken down our altars of self-reliance and pride, and have smashed our idols in pieces that we might serve you with an undivided heart. O Lord, draw near to us in love and let your favor rest upon us as we run in the way of your commandments following Jesus our Lord.
