Leviticus 13 Prayer Points
O Lord, you who are of purer eyes than to see evil cannot look at wrong, and yet you look at us. Even though our whole head is sick and our whole heart is faint because of our sin. From the soles of our feet even unto our head, there is no soundness in us, but bruises, sores and raw wounds. We all are like spiritual lepers in your sight. Yet, we remember how in your great compassion, you reached out and touched the lepers, healed them, and restored them to community, demonstrating your power over sickness and corruption. O Lord, we pray that we would sense your healing touch again this morning not only to feel your compassion and sympathy but also to experience your power over sin and guilt. You are the only one who can make us truly clean, not just outwardly, but inwardly. Lord, help us to live in the light of your healing, reflecting your wholeness to a world in desperate need of your grace.
