2 Corinthians 2 Prayer Points

We give you thanks, O God, who in Christ Jesus always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the aroma of Christ everywhere, a fragrance of death to the perishing, and a fragrance of life to those who are being saved. Who is sufficient for these things, O Lord? Yet you have commissioned us to speak in the name of Christ and you have opened doors for us to share the gospel with others. What a privilege it is to serve as ambassadors of the living God. Father, we also give you thanks for making us a part of the Church of Christ as members of his body that we might share in one another’s joys and burdens. O Lord, teach us to forgive one another for Christ’s sake that we might not be outwitted by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes. And fill our hearts with the abundance of Christ’s love that we might not cause each other more pain but bring hope and comfort to those in need of repentance. O Lord, as you have loved us, so may we love one another.
